Settling unease in Covid times

Covid times have not been easy for most of us, feelings of unease may accompany us during daytime and perhaps also at night. If this is the case for you, taking 8-10 minute alert quiet breaks, twice a day, can make a difference.

These quiet 'me' times can help you observe what kind of thoughts or emotions are lurking in the background, causing feelings of unease in the body. It helps to take a step back and see yourself as a witness to the thought pattern in your mind and any associated physical sensations that can be traced.

Once you are able to recognise these sensations and acknowledge their presence, they tend to lose their power and fade away. You feel better as a result. Also, by clearly observing your thought pattern, you are able to distinguish fact from opinion, and matters you are able to control and those that are beyond your control.

This process helps untangle a busy, unsettled body & mind ...
